For more than 6,233 days, I have lived in what I experienced as constant, active combat fighting for the protection of God’s children and the preservation of human dignity without any intimacy. Throughout this entire period, I received no salary, no benefits, and no compensation for the medical injuries I sustained or for my slave enlisted special forces service. I survived year after year in extreme poverty, living, fighting, and surviving on often on less than $20,000 annually leaving me unable to afford travel to leave an intelligence warzone, while bearing the physical and psychological costs alone without my family. My service demanded everything from me, yet I was left without recognition, restitution, or care.
